Jackie Subeck is CEO and founder of Footprint Worldwide, bringing nearly twenty-five years of
experience in the music industry and seven years in China to the company. In 2002, she co-founded CRC Jianian, a joint
venture with the Chinese state-owned label China Record Corporation. As President of the Entertainment Group, Ms. Subeck
developed and administered the company's music master and publishing catalog, overseeing global music and new media initiatives.
She has extensive knowledge of classical Chinese music and in the West is considered an expert in the field.
Ms. Subeck has been on the frontlines of online and mobile distribution of digital media since its inception, striking deals
with frontrunner companies such as Apple, IODA, Billboard, Sony, Gracenote and Motorola. With her extensive business history
in China, Ms. Subeck has been a major player in China's rapidly growing music market. She has worked directly with China's
Ministry of Culture to produce and organize and live events promoting Chinese culture including Midem, Concert at Niagara
Falls and The China Philharmonic Live in Vienna. She regularly speaks on behalf of China and its music industry at numerous international
events including Musexpo, Canadian Music Week, Transmit China and the Innovation Culture and Creativity Forum in Beijing.
In 2007, Ms. Subeck inspired and created China Music Publishing, a company setup specifically to aggregate western music publishers
into the Chinese market. China Music Publishing is one of the earliest frontrunners in China's budding music publishing industry
and is perfectly positioned to help guide and shape the standards for what will soon become one of the most profitable and exciting
publishing markets on the globe.
At Columbia Records and Maverick Entertainment, Ms. Subeck managed and interfaced with some of the music industry's biggest names
including Madonna, George Michael, Alanis Morissette and Barbra Streisand. Additionally, she served as Personal Manager to several
top artists including the Grammy award winning vocal group, The Manhattan Transfer.
Raised in Los Angeles, Ms. Subeck attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, focusing on studies in music and business.
